Rino Gaetano was an Italian singer-songwriter active in the 1970s, known for a distinctive vocal delivery and sharp, often ironic lyrics that addressed social and political themes. His music combined elements of pop, rock, and new wave with playful, surreal imagery and witty wordplay, and he was noted for an idiosyncratic performance style. He died in 1981.
