Procol Harum

Procol Harum were a British band formed in 1967 whose music blended rock and pop with classical and baroque influences, featuring prominent organ and piano textures, emotive lead vocals, and poetic, sometimes surreal lyrics. Their sound helped bridge late 1960s pop and early progressive rock and often incorporated orchestral arrangements and extended instrumental passages. They are widely associated with the 1967 single 'A Whiter Shade of Pale.'
