Prefab Sprout

Prefab Sprout are an English band formed in 1978 and fronted by singer-songwriter Paddy McAloon. Their music is often described as literate, melodic pop that mixes sophisticated arrangements with elements of jazz, chamber pop and new wave, characterized by intricate chordal work, polished production and witty, introspective songwriting.
