Playgroup

Playgroup is the recording alias of British producer and DJ Trevor Jackson. The project blends electronic dance styles with influences from post-punk, disco, electro, and synthpop, favoring polished production, rhythmic sampling, and club-focused arrangements. Playgroup is notable for its crossover of underground dance sensibilities with indie electronic aesthetics and for a body of remixes and productions that reflect a broad interest in retro and contemporary electronic sounds.
