Plastic Ono Band

Plastic Ono Band was a fluid musical project formed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 that served as their vehicle for collaborative recordings and performances. Its music ranged from stripped-down rock and raw, primal-sounding songs to experimental and avant-garde pieces, often incorporating improvisation, spoken word, and personal or political themes. The lineup changed frequently, and the name functioned as a flexible platform for Lennon and Ono's collaborations across multiple incarnations through 2015.
