Phuture

Phuture is an American electronic music group formed in Chicago in 1985 and associated with the early development of acid house. Their sound centers on repetitive drum-machine patterns and resonant, squelchy basslines from the Roland TB-303, often paired with minimal vocal fragments and a raw, club-oriented production style. They are frequently cited as an early influence on acid house and related electronic dance music scenes.
