Peter & Gordon

Peter & Gordon were a British pop duo formed in 1964 by Peter Asher and Gordon Waller. Their sound combined melodic, folk-influenced pop with close vocal harmonies and gentle acoustic arrangements, characteristic of the softer side of the 1960s British pop scene. They were associated with the London music scene of that era and recorded material connected to Lennon and McCartney, and they continued to be identified with 1960s pop songwriting and vocal duet styles.
