Olu Dara

Olu Dara is an American musician and songwriter whose work blends jazz, blues, folk and African influences. He is known as a cornetist and guitarist who also sings, favoring warm, lyrical cornet lines, loose roots grooves, and narrative lyrics that draw on blues and vernacular forms. His music bridges jazz and roots traditions, and he is the father of rapper Nas.
