Ol' Dirty Bastard

Ol' Dirty Bastard (Russell Tyrone Jones, 1968–2004) was an American rapper and founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan. He was known for a raw, unorthodox vocal approach featuring off-kilter phrasing, gritty tones, improvisational ad-libs, and an unpredictable stage persona that emphasized spontaneity and character over polished technique. As a solo performer he maintained an eccentric, unfiltered style that stood apart from more conventional rap deliveries and helped foreground theatricality and unconventional flows in hip hop.
