Oasis

Oasis is a British rock band formed in Manchester in 1991, fronted by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. They are associated with a loud, guitar-driven sound that draws on 1960s British rock and pop influences, with melodic songwriting, chiming guitar riffs, and large, singalong choruses. Noel was the band's primary songwriter and guitarist while Liam was the lead vocalist, and the group was closely linked to the 1990s Britpop movement and a widely publicized rivalry between the Gallagher brothers.
