Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is an American band formed in 1966 that blends folk, country, bluegrass, and country-rock, often featuring acoustic instruments such as banjo, mandolin, and acoustic guitar with close vocal harmonies. They are noted for a long-running career and for bringing traditional country and bluegrass musicians into collaboration with contemporary players, notably on the album Will the Circle Be Unbroken.
