Nick Drake

Nick Drake was an English singer-songwriter active in the late 1960s and early 1970s, noted for delicate acoustic fingerpicking, hushed, melancholic vocals and introspective lyrics. His recordings combined sparse guitar with subtle string and chamber-pop arrangements, and he released three studio albums before his death in 1974. His restrained, intimate sound has influenced many later folk and singer-songwriter musicians.
