My Bloody Valentine

My Bloody Valentine is an Irish alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 1983. They are associated with the shoegaze movement and are known for a dense, guitar-driven sound that emphasizes layered, heavily processed guitars, tremolo and pitch-bending techniques often described as glide guitar, subdued and often buried vocals, and experimental studio production. Their 1991 album Loveless is noted for its unconventional production and textural guitar work.
