Mungo Jerry

Mungo Jerry is a British band formed in 1970 by singer-guitarist Ray Dorset. Their sound blends skiffle, jug band and acoustic blues with folk-rock influences, often featuring acoustic guitar, kazoo and jug textures and a loose, upbeat feel. They reached wide recognition in the early 1970s with the single "In the Summertime" and continued performing with changing lineups.
