Morris Stoloff

Morris Stoloff was an American violinist, conductor, and music director who worked extensively in film and studio recording, arranging and conducting orchestral scores and instrumental albums that blended classical technique with mid 20th century cinematic and popular orchestral textures. He was active in the studio and soundtrack world, leading recording sessions and shaping the orchestral sound of numerous film and instrumental projects. He died in 1980.
