Monty Python

Monty Python was a British comedy troupe formed in 1969 whose work frequently incorporated original songs and musical sketches; their musical pieces mix elements of music hall, pop and orchestral arrangement with satirical and surreal lyrics. Music was used to punctuate and extend their sketches and films, often featuring contributions from troupe members and collaborators and combining vocal performance, parody and comedic timing as part of their overall comic style.
