Miami Sound Machine

Miami Sound Machine is a US band formed in 1975, notable for blending Latin rhythms such as salsa and Afro-Cuban percussion with pop, disco, and dance arrangements. The group featured brass and layered percussion alongside bilingual vocals, and its sound helped introduce Latin-inflected pop and dance music to a broader American audience in the late 1970s and 1980s. The band became closely associated with lead singer Gloria Estefan, who later pursued a solo career.
