Marianne Faithfull

Marianne Faithfull (GB, died 2025) was a British singer and actress whose career began in the 1960s with folk-influenced pop and later moved into darker, more experimental and spoken-word-influenced music; she became known for a fragile, husky vocal timbre that shaped much of her later work and for a career that bridged folk, rock, and avant-garde styles alongside occasional film and theatre roles.
