Mano Negra

Mano Negra was a French band active from 1987 to 1995, led by Manu Chao. Their sound combined punk rock energy with Latin, ska, reggae, flamenco and other world music influences, often mixing French, Spanish and English lyrics. They were known for raucous live performances and a DIY, genre‑blurring approach that drew attention across Europe.
