Manassas

Manassas was an American band formed in 1971 and active until 1973, led by Stephen Stills. Their music blended rock, country, blues, folk, and Latin influences into a roots-oriented ensemble sound, shifting between electric rock arrangements and more acoustic, country-tinged or folk-leaning numbers. The group served as a short-lived vehicle for Stills to explore a wide range of American styles in a band setting outside his work with Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
