Loggins & Messina

Loggins & Messina were an American duo formed by singer-songwriter Kenny Loggins and multi-instrumentalist Jim Messina, active from 1972 to 1975. Their music blended folk, country, rock, and pop elements, with close vocal harmonies, acoustic and electric arrangements, and a mix of solo-style songwriting and full-band textures. Messina's production and instrumental work complemented Loggins's lead vocals and compositional focus, and the partnership is often associated with the early 1970s soft rock and folk-rock scene.
