Little Eva

Little Eva (Eva Narcissus Boyd) was an American singer active in the early 1960s whose bright, rhythmic pop and R&B vocals were closely associated with dance-oriented material from the Brill Building era; she is best known for recording 'The Loco-Motion', and her energetic, youthful delivery became a recognizable element of that period's pop sound.
