Linkin Park

Linkin Park is an American band formed in 1996 that blends rock, rap, electronic elements and industrial textures, emerging from the late 1990s nu metal scene and later exploring alternative and electronic directions. Their sound is characterized by the interplay of melodic, often intense sung vocals and rhythmic rapped verses, heavy guitar riffs paired with programmed beats and sample-based production, and emotionally direct, introspective lyrics, with members such as Mike Shinoda and the late Chester Bennington prominent in that dynamic.
