Les Rita Mitsouko

Les Rita Mitsouko were a French duo formed in 1980 by Catherine Ringer and Fred Chichin, active until 2007. Their sound fused elements of new wave, pop, rock, funk, and chanson, featuring theatrical and expressive vocals, eclectic arrangements, and a strong visual and performance sensibility. They combined danceable rhythms with angular guitar work and experimental production, making them a distinctive presence in the French pop and alternative scene during their career.
