Laurie Johnson

Laurie Johnson was a British composer and bandleader known for his work in film and television scoring; he led the Laurie Johnson Orchestra and wrote bold, brassy, cinematic themes that drew on big-band and jazz arranging, often featuring rhythmic drive and polished orchestral colors. He is closely associated with British TV music of the 1960s and 1970s and died in 2024.
