Ladysmith Black Mambazo

Ladysmith Black Mambazo is a South African male choral group formed in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, in 1964 by Joseph Shabalala. They sing in traditional Zulu isicathamiya and mbube styles, characterized by close a cappella harmonies, deep bass lines, and subtle rhythmic footwork, and have been influential in bringing Zulu choral traditions to international audiences, including collaborations with international artists such as Paul Simon.
