Kraftwerk

Kraftwerk is a German band formed in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. They are known for a precise, minimalist electronic sound built from synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers and vocoders, with repetitive rhythms, spare melodies and a stylized, robotic aesthetic. Their work helped shape electronic production techniques and aesthetics that informed later developments in electronic music, synth-pop, techno and hip hop, and their live shows often combined music with strong visual design and a distinctive stage presence.
