Johnny Mercer

Johnny Mercer was an American lyricist, songwriter, and singer active in the mid 20th century, known for conversational, witty lyrics and an urbane vocal delivery that connected popular song and film music; he was also involved on the business side of the industry as a co-founder of Capitol Records.
