Johnny Burnette and the Rock 'n' Roll Trio

Johnny Burnette and the Rock ’n’ Roll Trio were a US rockabilly group formed in 1951 and active through 1957. Their sound combined elements of country and rhythm and blues with early rock and roll, characterized by driving, guitar-centered arrangements, raw vocal delivery, and a stripped-down ensemble approach. The trio is regarded as part of the early rockabilly movement and contributed to the development of a more aggressive, rhythm-driven rock and roll sound.
