Jeffrey Frederick

Jeffrey Frederick (died 1996) was an American singer-songwriter and bandleader known for an idiosyncratic blend of country, folk, and rock, often delivered with wry, irreverent lyrics. He led Jeffrey Frederick and the Clamtones and was active in regional folk and psychedelic-leaning music circles in the 1970s, combining traditional country and bluegrass elements with loose, communal arrangements and a storytelling approach to songwriting.
