Jan & Dean

Jan & Dean were an American rock and pop duo formed in 1958, led by Jan Berry and Dean Torrence. Their music blended rock and roll and pop with close two-part vocal harmonies and lyrical themes tied to early 1960s California surf culture, often featuring upbeat rhythms and references to cars, beaches, and youth life. They continued to perform in various forms into the early 2000s and disbanded in 2004.
