Indeep

Indeep were a US dance band active from 1980 to 1987, associated with the post-disco and early electro-funk scenes. Their sound combined a deep bass groove, syncopated percussion, synth-driven flourishes, and soulful lead vocals, positioning them between disco, R&B, and emerging hip hop-influenced club music. They are best known for a widely recognized early 1980s dance single and for music that has been part of club and sampling contexts.
