Ian Dury

Ian Dury was an English singer-songwriter and actor, closely associated with the late 1970s British scene as frontman of Ian Dury and the Blockheads; his music combined elements of pub rock, punk and new wave with funk, R&B and music hall influences, and he was known for a conversational, Cockney-inflected vocal delivery and literate, often witty lyrics. He died in 2000.
