Herbie Hancock

Herbie Hancock is an American jazz pianist, keyboardist and composer whose work spans post-bop, jazz fusion, funk and electronic music. He rose to prominence in the 1960s as a member of Miles Davis's group and later led both acoustic and electric ensembles, incorporating synthesizers and funk rhythms into improvisational jazz contexts.
