Helen Reddy

Helen Reddy was an Australian singer and actress known for a warm, clear vocal style and a radio-friendly pop and adult contemporary sound that was prominent in the 1970s. She is closely associated with the song 'I Am Woman', which became linked to the women's movement, and her repertoire ranged from introspective ballads to upbeat pop delivered with direct, emotive phrasing. Reddy later stepped back from performing and died in 2020.
