Harry South

Harry South (died 1990) was a British jazz pianist, composer and arranger active in the mid 20th century. He wrote and arranged for both small ensembles and larger bands, working in a style that drew on bebop and big-band traditions to produce tightly arranged, rhythmically driven charts. He is associated with the postwar British jazz scene and is remembered for his craft as an arranger and composer.
