Harry Nilsson

Harry Nilsson was an American singer-songwriter, active mainly in the 1960s and 1970s, known for melodic pop and baroque pop arrangements that blended rock, folk, and orchestral elements. He was noted for a wide, expressive vocal range and inventive studio work, including multi-tracked harmonies, and he combined original songwriting with distinctive interpretations of others' material. Nilsson worked with peers from the era and remained a recognized voice in popular songwriting until his death in 1994.
