Graham Parker & The Rumour

Graham Parker & The Rumour were a British band formed in 1976 and active until 1982. Fronted by singer-songwriter Graham Parker and backed by the Rumour, their music combined pub rock and new wave with strong soul and R&B influences, marked by punchy arrangements, organ and guitar interplay, and literate, often sharp songwriting associated with the late 1970s UK rock scene.
