Go‐Go's

The Go-Go's are an American all-female rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1978. Their music blends new wave, pop, and punk influences, with bright, melodic guitar lines, tight vocal harmonies, and energetic, upbeat rhythms. They are notable for writing and performing their own material and for helping popularize a pop-oriented new wave sound among rock audiences in the early 1980s.
