Giant Sand

Giant Sand is an American band formed in 1985 and led by singer-songwriter Howe Gelb. Rooted in the Tucson, Arizona scene, the group is known for a loose, rotating lineup and an eclectic, genre-blending sound that mixes elements of alt country, Americana, indie rock, folk, and psychedelic experimentation.
