Geto Boys

Geto Boys are an American hip hop group from Houston, formed in 1986. Their music blends gangsta rap and Southern hip hop with dark, narrative lyrics that address violence, mental health, and social issues, and their sound has included eerie, sample-based production and elements associated with horrorcore. Core members in their best-known lineup included Scarface, Willie D, and Bushwick Bill, and they are often mentioned in accounts of the rise of Southern rap in the late 1980s and 1990s.
