Fugazi

Fugazi was an American post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C., active from 1986 to 2003. Their music blended punk intensity with experimental and art-rock elements, characterized by angular, interlocking guitars, dynamic shifts in tempo and volume, and vocal interplay. The group operated within a DIY framework, releasing work on Dischord Records and emphasizing affordable, all-ages shows and independent control over their recordings and touring.
