Fred Neil

Fred Neil was an American singer-songwriter associated with the 1960s folk scene, known for a deep, resonant baritone and a style that blended folk, blues, and relaxed, jazz-inflected phrasing. His work featured spare, contemplative arrangements and introspective lyrics, and several of his compositions were recorded by other artists. He spent later years away from the commercial spotlight and died in 2001.
