Flamin' Groovies

Flamin' Groovies are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1965. They started with a raw garage and psychedelic-tinged sound and later moved toward a rootsy, British Invasion-influenced rock and roll and power pop style, marked by chiming guitars, steady rhythms, and gritty vocals. With a long history of lineup changes, they are often cited for helping connect 1960s garage rock approaches to later punk and power pop developments.
