Fingers Inc.

Fingers Inc. was a Chicago house trio active from 1985 to 1988, led by producer and keyboardist Larry Heard with vocalists Robert Owens and Ron Wilson. Their music combined minimal drum-machine grooves and warm, melodic synth bass with soulful, introspective vocals, reflecting an early, more atmospheric strain of deep house. They released the full-length album Another Side in 1988 and are commonly associated with the formative deep house scene of mid-1980s Chicago.
