Felt

Felt were an English band formed in 1979 and active through 1989, led by singer-songwriter Lawrence. Their music combined jangly, intricate guitar work with literate, often melancholic songwriting, drawing on post-punk and 1960s pop sensibilities to produce a distinctive indie pop and art-pop sound. Across their releases they emphasized mood, melody, and atmospheric arrangements.
