Father John Misty

Father John Misty is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Josh Tillman. His work blends indie folk, baroque pop and singer-songwriter traditions with lush arrangements and touches of rock and psychedelia. He is known for a warm baritone delivery and lyrics that mix irony, social observation and personal candor, often presented through a theatrical or satirical persona. He previously toured as the drummer for Fleet Foxes before focusing on his solo work under the Father John Misty name.
