Faces

Faces were a British rock band formed in 1969 and active until 1975. Emerging from the remnants of Small Faces with the addition of Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, they played a loose, bluesy rock and roll that drew on R&B and folk influences, featuring organ-driven arrangements and a raw, convivial live sound. The group is noted for its rough-edged, improvisational performances and its connection to the later careers of members such as Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood.
