Elastica

Elastica was a British rock band formed in 1992 and fronted by vocalist and guitarist Justine Frischmann. Their music combined jagged, minimalist guitar riffs and punchy, concise song structures drawing on punk and post-punk influences, with a lean, hook-driven approach often associated with the 1990s Britpop scene. The group was noted for a stripped-back, angular sound and short, direct songs, and remained active through much of the 1990s before disbanding in 2001.
