EELS

Eels is an American rock band formed in 1995 by singer-songwriter Mark Oliver Everett, known as E. Their music blends alternative and indie rock with elements of lo-fi, orchestral arrangement and electronic textures, pairing introspective, often melancholic lyrics about loss and personal struggle with moments of dark humor and melodic songwriting. The project is centered on Everett's voice and songwriting and commonly features a rotating cast of collaborators, yielding varied production approaches across releases.
